Starting July 1, 2025, Reagan MTD is bringing safe, affordable, and accessible public transportation to rural Winnebago County. This curb-to-curb, demand-response service is designed to connect residents to essential destinations—whether it’s a medical appointment, workplace, school, or grocery store. This service is available Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding holidays. 

Passengers traveling from Winnebago County to Rockford via Reagan MTD will be able to transfer to RMTD’s fixed-route services at three different locations. RMTD’s downtown transfer center, Northtown Mall, and PCI Pharma Services located at 4545 Assembly Dr, Rockford, Illinois.

When transferring, passengers will receive a physical transfer that will be provided at no cost. This transfer must be given to RMTD’s operator upon boarding.
