Greyhound/FlixBus Service Information:

Connections to Greyhound Interstate bus service can be made at the RMTD East Side Transfer Center at 725 N. Lyford Road.  Passengers may also purchase tickets at the counter in the terminal for these services during RMTD East Side Transfer Center  business hours, Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am until 6:30 pm. 

Starting 3/12/25, FlixBus will serve the Rockford Mass Transit District’s East Side Transfer Center with a new interstate route. Please see the times listed below. Tickets can be purchased through the Greyhound and FlixBus websites or in person at RMTD’s ESTC.

The parking lot at South Parking lot is available for passengers who wish to park and ride. 

The Lyford Road facility is open and staffed from 6 am until 6:30 pm Monday thru Friday.  The lobby for the facility is also open from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, although no business will be transacted on weekends.  After hours ticketing can be done online or with the driver.
