ROCKFORD, Ill. – As the temperatures get colder the Rockford Mass Transit District would like to provide a list of community warming centers to help the public stay warm during the cold winter months.

Warming centers offer-Heated relief during periods of extreme cold or when an Excessive Cold Advisory or Warning is issued by the National Weather Service. The RMTD bus routes are noted for the Winnebago County sites.
