Trolley Service Begins 5.31.13

The RMTD trolley is hitting the streets once again on Friday nights to service the Rockford City Market.  Click here for the route and times you can hop on and hop off.  Riding the Trolley is Free so park and ride and enjoy the whole downtown experience every Friday from May 31st, thru October 25, 2013.

Photo ID Fee Increase 7/1/13

The fees for an RMTD photo ID will increase to $5.00 effective 7.1.13 for all ID’s except student ID’s.  Student ID’s will remain the same at $2.00.  All other ID’s including the Benefit Access, Senior Citizens and Disabled Cards will be $5.00 with proof of qualification for that ID.

#1 West State Crusader Clinic Detour

Due to the construction on W. State, the following detour will be in effect starting Monday, May 6, 2013.  Click here for detour.

#7 South Main Detour

Effective 4/24/13 the #7 S. Main will make the following detours in the construction zone. Click here for details.

#4 North Main Detour

NOTE:  Effective 6/4 thru 6/7, starting at 7:00 a.m. The inbound #4, N. Main will be detoured due to ongoing construction.  The detour is as follows:  inbound from N. Main, R- Burton (at Hershey Apts), L – Huffman/North Ave., L-King, R-N Court, L-Reynolds, R- N Main and resume regular route. This supercedes the following thru 6.7, then regular detours are effective.
